  • Which track should students who graduate in December enter?
A:  University track.  If they win, we will support their efforts through the start-up mentoring                    program
  • How long do contestants have to enter their ideas?
A:  Until Nov. 20, 2011
  • Can teams enter the Innov8 for Health Contest?

A:  Yes.  Teams are welcome to enter.   If a team wins, prizes will be awarded to the team                    and distributed as the team determines. (For example, if the team wins the $1,000 prize the              team gets $1,000 to distribute.  NOT $1,000 per team member.)

  • Can contestants enter the Innov8 for Health Challenge if they do not live in the greater Cincinnati region

       A:  Short answer is basically, No.  Please read on for full details. Entries must have a connection             to the Greater Cincinnati area.  Greater Cincinnati includes Brown, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton             and Warren Counties in Ohio; Boone, Bracken, Gallatin, Grant, Campbell, Kenton, and                       Pendleton Counties in Kentucky; and Dearborn, Franklin, and Ohio Counties in Indiana.

              *A connection to Greater Cincinnati includes:

                 -The innovation was invented in Greater Cincinnati

                 -The innovation is the product of a student, staff or researcher of an educational institution                  in Greater Cincinnati

                 - The company, entity or individual who owns or conceives of the innovation is located in                    Greater Cincinnati; and/or

                -The inventor is originally from Greater Cincinnati.

                - If you have an alternate connection to Greater Cincinnati, then feel free to describe it on                     your registration form, but there is no guarantee that it will be accepted. Each entrant                         warrants and represents that his/her

  • Will ideas be considered for inclusion in the contest that do not relate to the 2011 Challenge, Transitions in Care?
           A:  No, winning ideas must relate to improving transitions in care
